Tree Problems
Boulevard tree pruning and removal
Contact the Parks Division at 625-2195 to report a boulevard tree you think is hazardous, a public tree that requires pruning, or anything that appears to be wrong with a boulevard tree. Trees that are dead, dying, seriously diseased or structurally unsound are considered to be hazardous and will be removed by the City.
Trees will only be removed when there is no alternative to allow driveway construction, under a valid Driveway Permit from the Engineering Division. In that event, the property owner must pay for all removal costs and the purchase, planting and maintenance of two trees.
