Water Quality Reports

The City of Thunder Bay is pleased to announce the release of the 2011 Drinking Water Quality Annual Report to consumers. The report confirms the delivery of high-quality drinking water and contains information about the City of Thunder Bay water treatment and distribution system.

Under the provisions of Ontario regulation 170/03 all municipalities must ensure that a report is prepared and submitted to the Ministry of Environment for each calendar year. The regulations set out mandatory treatment requirements for facilities using surface water as a source. Water samples are taken and evaluated for all parameters that can impact water quality. Your water quality is monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
