Heavy Load Restriction Signage

The Ministry of Transportation’s Provincial Reduced Load Regulations are put in place each spring. The start date of the restrictions is dependent upon weather conditions and subject to change. The City of Thunder Bay places Reduced Load Restrictions on all streets within the City limits with the exception of those streets listed in the document below. Announcement of the commencement of the restrictions is provided through the media.

The restrictions are put into place to prevent excessive damage to our City Streets and your cooperation is appreciated.

Reduced Load Restrictions within the city limits of the City of Thunder Bay take effect on Monday, March 25, 2013.
