Board of Directors

In the absence of membership fees, the Thunder Bay 55 Plus Centre Board of Directors Fund Raising Committee hosts a variety of events throughout the year. Some of the monies raised are used to help offset the Centre’s annual operating costs. See our upcoming events. The Board of Directors is committed to quality programs, services and opportunities for those 55 plus in the community.

The Board of Directors is committed to helping offset costs of the Centre through fund raising  rather than membership fees. Donations help us purchase supplies and equipment for the computer lab, daily activities, support Grief Counseling Programs offered in partnership with the Catholic Family Development Centre, which helps individuals get through the difficult transition of losing a loved one and to help offset some of the maintenance costs to keep our Centre running.

It is with our volunteers’ gift of time and your financial contribution that allows us to maintain the high standard of recreation and social programs for those 55 plus in our community.   

There are many ways to contribute to the Centre through memorial donations, Friends of the Centre Wall, Donation Tree and general donations. All donations assist the Board of Directors in supporting the operation of the Thunder Bay 55 Plus Centre.
