Nursing Support

Residents and families are encouraged to be involved in the provision of care, programs and services 24 hours a day. Residents and families are welcome to participate in attendance at admission and annual care conferences,

Our multidisciplinary nursing care team consists of Director of Nursing (DON), Nurse Clinical Manager (NCM), Registered Nurses (RNs), Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) and Personal Support Workers (PSWs). Registered Nurses are on site 24 hours a day:

 Family and Friends Advisory Councils have involvement in reviewing and altering care plans.

  • Director of Nursing is responsible for planning, organizing, leading and guiding nursing services.
  • Nurse Clinical Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient operation and administration of Quality Nursing Services by ensuring and promoting the provision of Resident-centered services.
  • Best Practices Clinician is responsible for the coordination and implementation of best practices related to documentation, technology and clinical skills.
  • Registered Nurses are responsible for organizing, supervising, implementing and evaluating the clinical components of the nursing program.
  • Registered Practical Nurses assumes the team leader role of the Resident Home Area including resident care, staff, and provides optimum individualized resident care.
  • Personal Support Workers provide personal care and assistance as outlined in the residents plan of care under the direction and supervision of the RN and RPN.
  • Restorative Care Worker provides varied adapted and individualized restorative programs, which assist residents in achieving their emotional, physical, and social potential.
  • Nursing Unit Support Worker provides support services to the Resident Home Area
  • Resident Counsellor provides resident focused programs, service's, and or interventions
