C.A.E.R.

Thunder Bay Fire Rescue is a member of the Community Awareness and Emergency Response Group (CAER). CAER has been functioning for over 15 years. The Group is comprised of local manufacturers, producers, transporters of dangerous goods, emergency responders and government agencies. The goals of this voluntary group include fostering community outreach, reducing potential harm to employees and the public and establishing and maintaining Emergency Response Plans for member companies and the surrounding community.
