November 2012 - Toys for Tots Campaign - The Toys for Tots Campaign is a charitable project of the Thunder Bay Professional Firefighters Association. The mission of Toys for Tots is to ensure that all children living in our community will receive a gift on Christmas Day. This unique and successful initiative on the part of local firefighters is more than 50 years old, and represents a volunteer effort of hundreds of off-duty man hours. In 2009 firefighters raised $132,690 and since 1973 the total is more than $2 million. For more information please visit their website at www.tbaytoysfortots.ca.
December 2012 - 22nd Annual Christmas Parade - The Thunder Bay Professional Firefighters Association will be taking part in the 22nd Annual Christmas Parade! Kicking off at 10 am sharp at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium and travelling down Memorial Avenue to the CLE Grounds. Hosted By the Rotary Club.
