Official Recognition
The City of Thunder Bay thrives because of the very special contributions and accomplishments of community champions. Our City is fortunate to be home to innovators, athletes, artists and countless volunteers who help to make our community an even better place to live, work and play. We believe it is important to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of these extraordinary people who improve the lives of others in our City.

Annual Awards
These awards honour those individuals, organizations and groups that are helping to create a neighbourhood or community where people feel a sense of belonging and responsibility to each other, and are active participants in its life.
Monthly Awards
These awards are presented to individuals, teams or organizations for outstanding achievement and contribution to the City of Thunder Bay. Monthly award recipients have received provincial, national, or international recognition for their achievement. When providing a nomination it is the responsibility of the individual, team or organization to submit full documentation regarding the level of achievement.
Selection CommitteeThe Selection Committee is comprised of appointed community members representing the various award categories.
