Paul Dosen

Paul Dosen first joined the CNIB as a volunteer in 2002. At that time, he worked with the soil and plants in the newly designed fragrant garden. Prior to his time as a volunteer with CNIB, Paul provided parents and families who have had children born with vision loss a first-hand glimpse of his life challenges, goals and achievements living independently with vision loss. This past summer he took on a leadership role in assisting with the planning and organization of workshops for the Young Adult Group at CNIB. He provides the ever-cheerful, kind and caring welcome when the guests enter the CNIB reception area. Paul’s confidence, calm personality, warm sense of humour, and willingness to share his life experiences make him a deserving recipient of this award.
