Robert Bradley

For over 20 years, Robert has demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation and meaningful volunteer contribution in Thunder Bay.  Of particular note are his contributions to cross country skiing starting in 1988 when he served on the executive of the Thunder Bay Nordic Trails.  During his tenure on the board he was the volunteer coordinator and served on the fundraising committee, chalet building committee and the liason committee with Big Thunder.  Since 2000 he has been actively involved with the Jack Rabbit program at Kamview in many capacities.  Robert has demonstrated his leadership skills and innovation by spearheading the design and construction of the "maze" and most recently "animal track".  In addition to his involvement at Kamview, Robert has been a volunteer with the Sibley Ski Tour, now the Sleeping Giant Loppet.  From 2002-2005 Robert was a coach with Volunteer Pool Soccer and provided off ice backup to coaches with the Thunder Bay Speed Skating.  As well he has been an active canvasser for Multiple Sclerosis Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society, volunteered with the Diabetes Association with the Camp Firefly program and served as Council chairman and youth group leader at Our Saviour's Lutheran church.  His commitment and dedication truly demonstrate that Robert is worthy of a Spirit of Thunder Bay Award.
