Colton Burdick

Colton's volunteer efforts are very impressive especially for someone of such a young age.  A list of his contributions include:  helping with pancake breakfasts and bingos, helping with parking at the Murillo Fair, collecting garbage (with the Scouts), raking leaves at the MNR buildings off Arthur St., planting trees at the new dump site on Mapleward Road, and volunteering at the Recreation Centre (collecting garbage, doing dishes).  Colton also helped empty the gymnasium storage room at Hillcrest High School, and has emptied and rearranged the gymnasium storage room at his former elementary school.  Colton is a very polite, hard working young man.  He is only in grade 10, and has accumulated over 500 community volunteer hours.
