Jane Chapman - Good Citizen Award 2015In the late 1970s, a group of women formed a bridge group called the Hospital Marathon Bridge Group. The participants play Bridge in each other’s homes once a month and make a donation to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre’s (TBRHSC) Volunteer Association. Jane Chapman has been in charge of the Hospital Marathon Bridge Group for 19 years and her dedication has helped raise more than $28,000 for TBRHSC. In appreciation for her dedication, the TBRHSC Volunteer Association presented Jane with an Honorary Membership in May 2012. Jane is responsible for scheduling the Bridge games, organizing a Bridge Luncheon, purchasing prizes for the luncheon and recognizing the top team. Jane`s dedication to the group has ensured its longevity in supporting the work of the Health Sciences Centre.
