Dyck, Jacqueline

Jacqueline Dyck - Youth Award 2013Jacqueline has been a part of the Parkinson Society of Canada since 2001, the Northern Cancer Research Foundation from 2004 to 2007 and Co-Chair of Event Planning for We Stand Up since October 2012.  Volunteering with the Parkinson Society Canada, she has helped with everything from tulip sales to participating in the Super Walk every year.  Jacqueline and her sister helped raise over $2,000 by telephoning everyone in the family phone book.  Jacqueline has been featured with her mother and sister in a LUNAFEST documentary in San Francisco about the importance of volunteering for cancer research.  She has been involved in the Thundering Women Music Festival, Summer in the Parks and Teddy Bears’ Picnic.  Jacqueline has been awarded the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award, and the City of Thunder Bay Youth Strategy Award in May of 2012.
