18 Emmerson Avenue

This two-and-a-half-storey home was originally owned by James Campbell Hunter and was built in 1906. The exterior walls are brick veneer and have been painted white. There is brick stringcourse between the first and second floors. The house has a combination of fixed and casement-type windows and the porch has cross-hatch pattern windows. Also, two windows with arching brickwork frames can be found on the front of the house. The front portion of the house has a hipped roof, while the addition added to the back of the home has a pyramidal roof design. The roof also has two gable ends, one facing Emmerson Avenue, and the other facing Harrington Avenue. The gable ends are decorated with cut and coloured cedar shingles.
