6 Emmerson Avenue

This two-and-a-half-storey residence was constructed in 1906, and the original owner was J.J. Carrick. The exterior walls are stone, designed in a random ashlar pattern. Numerous interesting architectural features include the veranda that wraps around two sides of the house. The roof of the veranda, doubling as a second storey balcony, is supported by Romanesque columns. There are three gabled dormers, each with a separate window. Various window designs are featured. The roof of the building is a cross-hipped design. The house fits very well with the other properties in the vicinity.
