Graham Residence

400 Archibald Street South
Constructed: 1910
Architect: W. Hood & H. Scott

This house was built for George Graham, a prominent lumber merchant and later Mayor of Fort William. Many trees surround this property, making the house difficult to see. Red sandstone with ashlar trim was used for construction. A veranda runs along the north and west walls. The home has a two-storey bay window as well as various dormers on the slopes of the hipped roof. Tall stone chimneys are found on the north and east slopes of the roof.
