Local Films

Movie Nights thumbAs part of the summer programming at Prince Arthur’s Landing, the City hosts Movie Nights in the Park, a series of free outdoor film screenings. Feature films are selected after a public input process and are shown on a 28 foot wide inflatable movie screen using an HD projector.

In an effort to promote and showcase local/regional filmmakers, the City screens a locally or regionally produced short film, animation, trailer or project before each feature film.

Local and regional filmmakers are encouraged to make submissions to this annual competition. When submissions are solicited in the spring, details are posted on the Open Call to Artists page.
