Call for Talent, Food Vendors, Product & Service Vendors, Artisans and Community Groups 

The City of Thunder Bay is inviting performers, food vendors, product and service vendors, artisans, and community groups to apply to participate at the City’s annual events series.
Various participation opportunities include over 22 event days, with two major single-day events and two event series. All events are free to the public and collectively draw thousands of attendees.

Call for Talent    March 31, 2017 All applicants are required to submit forms and supporting documentation electronically to culture@thunderbay.ca.
Musicians, dance groups, children's entertainers and other stage performance acts are invite to apply to perform in the City's annual summer events series. Performance opportunities include over 14 event days.

Eligible food vendors are invited to apply to provide refreshment for the City's annual events series. The City of Thunder Bay strives to deliver high quality event experiences for our patrons. This includes refreshment options that offer a wide spectrum of menu and price choices and allow patrons to enjoy their favourite event foods as well as non-traditional options.

The City of Thunder Bay is inviting vendors who will provide high quality event experiences for our patrons. Two types of vendor opportunities exist:
1. Vendors may pay a vendor fee (and site services fee if applicable) to sell their products or services to event patrons
2. Vendors may be contracted by the City to provide free/discounted products or services to event patrons

The City of Thunder Bay is inviting artists and artisans* to apply to participate in Artist Markets at the City's annual summer events series. Artist Market opportunities include 9 event days, including one major single-day event and one event series.         *Please note that food vendors and individuals/businesses selling non-artisan products or services are required to apply through separate processes. See above for forms and deadlines.

The City is seeking community groups to add value to City events by providing activities of interest to event patrons. The City of Thunder Bay strives to promote our events and present participating groups in a professional manner.

The City of Thunder Bay's Recreation & Culture Division produces a diverse lineup of award-winning free events designed to inspire, engage, activate and delight all ages.

Fantastic sculptures are the focal point of this one-day celebration of all things winter.

Winter Fundays
Enjoy the outdoors at beautiful Marina Park, with a different free winter activity every Sunday - then warm up with a craft in the Baggage Building Arts Centre.

Live on the Waterfront 
Thunder Bay's premier free performing arts series! Wednesday evenings at Marina Park through the summer.

Movie Nights on the Waterfront 
A series of free outdoor film screenings that take place on Friday nights at Marina Park.

Teddy Bears Picnic
Children, parents and teddy bears are invited to enjoy an afternoon of free crafts, activities and entertainment in July at Vickers Park.

Spend a fun-filled fall afternoon discovering a park you may never have visited before - or experience a familiar park in a whole new way!
