City-Organized Events

The City of Thunder Bay's Recreation & Culture Division produces a diverse lineup of award-winning free events designed to inspire, engage, activate and delight all ages. 

CALL FOR TALENT

The City of Thunder Bay is inviting performing artists to apply to participate in the City's annual summer event series. Performance opportunities include over 15 event days, including two single-day events and two event series. All events are free to the public and collectively draw thousands of attendees.

The deadline to submit applications is 4 pm, Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018.

CALL FOR FOOD VENDORS

Eligible food vendors are invited to apply to provide refreshment for the City's annual events series. The City of Thunder Bay strives to deliver high quality event experiences for our patrons. This includes refreshment options that offer a wide spectrum of menu and price choices and allow patrons to enjoy their favourite event foods as well as non-traditional options.

CALL FOR ARTISTS AND ARTISANS

The City of Thunder Bay is inviting artists and artisans* to apply to participate in Artist Markets at the City's annual summer events series. Artist Market opportunities include 9 event days, including one major single-day event and one event series. *Please note that food vendors and individuals/businesses selling non-artisan products or services are required to apply through separate processes.

The City is seeking community groups to add value to City events by providing activities of interest to event patrons. The City of Thunder Bay strives to promote our events and present participating groups in a professional manner.

CALL FOR EVENT VENDORS

The City of Thunder Bay is inviting vendors who will provide high quality event experiences for our patrons to apply to participate in the City's annual summer event season.

Two types of vendor opportunities exists:
1. Vendor Space - Vendors may pay a vendor fee (and site service fee if applicable) to sell their products or services to event patrons.
2. Event Service - Vendors may be contacted by the City to provide free/discounted products or services to event patrons.
