Evaluation

Conducting an evaluation after the event provides a chance to wrap up details and to gather valuable information that can help your organization improve the event. A thorough evaluation includes feedback from organizers, staff, volunteers, participants and sponsors.

• Outline a plan for evaluating activities before the event begins and gather data while people are on site.
  
• Evaluation forms should be available and accessible; refer to the sample evaluation form.
  
• Finally, the Planning Committee should schedule an evaluation session shortly after completion of the event.
