The Awards Program showcases industry best practices and recognizes the hard work and dedication of those who choose event planning as a profession. The awards are presented at FEO's Annual Conference which is being held this year at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ottawa, March 3 - 6, 2010. Apply Now! Application deadline is Jan. 8, 2010. Government of Canada Marquee Tourism Events ProgramThe Marquee Tourism Events Program is providing $100 million in funding over two years for marquee tourism events in support of the visitor economy. This program has helped events across the country to sustain or increase their international reach and increase audience appeal through enhanced international marketing efforts, additional programming and new product offerings.
