 Come Fly With Us!!

Sunday June 3, 2018 from 12 noon to 4 pm
Location: Chippewa Park

FREE ADMISSION, but make sure to bring some cash for the rides, food concessions, and bouncy castles. 

The City's annual celebration of flight is back for it's 38th season, presented by Ontario Power Generation!

 

Join us at Chippewa Park on Sunday June 3rd! Families are invited to fly their own kites, watch the Pro Fliers take over the sky with Giant Kites, and learn about different forms of flight.

John Collins – The Paper Airplane Guy will be on-site to teach children how to fold and fly paper airplanes at a Guinness World Record distance.

 

Highlights of the 2018 Kite Festival include:

  • Giant Kites from pro kite fliers 

  • Free Fly Zone where you can fly kites and win prizes

  • Build your own Kites, Windsocks, Hot Air Balloons, Pinwheels, and Helicopters

  • Giant Bubbles / Interactive Circus with Compelling Characters

  • Ultimate Parties’ Human Hamster Balls, Rockets and Canon Ball Air Blasters

  • Facepainting and balloon creations with A Giggle of Clownz

  • Superheroes from Chippewa Summer Camps

  • Inflatables with Fun-tasic Castles

  • Jef Tanguay, the Balloonist

  • Roving performances with Mackinley Oliver
  • Food Vendor
