Movie Nights in the Park - Late Night Series

Time: After 9:30pm (once it is dark after sunset)

Kite Festival - Come Fly with Us!
Date: Sunday, May 26
Time: 12 noon - 4 pm
Location: Chippewa Park
Admission: Free
First held in 1981, the Kite Festival is one of Thunder Bay's favourite events.
Summer in the Parks - Concert series featuring local favourites & up-and-comers
Dates: Wednesdays, June 26 until August 14
Times: 6 - 9 pm
Location: Prince Arthur's Landing
Admission: Free
Featuring fabulous local talent. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Food concessions available. Face painting and games for the kids.
Canada Day - Celebrating Canada's birthday with friends and visitors
Date: Monday, July 1
Time: 5:30 - 11:30 pm
Location: Prince Arthur's Landing
Admission: Free
Includes Thunder Bay's largest annual fireworks display!
Teddy Bears Picnic - Fun for youngsters and the young-at-heart in Vickers Park

Location: Vickers Park (corner of Arthur Street & Selkirk Avenue)

Bring a blanket, picnic lunch and a teddy bear!

Superior Youth Festival - Outdoor concert featuring local youth performers and national headliners

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy some of our city's most promising up-and-coming performers, as well as national touring artists. Food concessions available. Youth organizations and community groups are also on site providing activities and programming.
Riverfest - Reconnect, Discover and Celebrate the Kaministiquia River!
Date: Saturday, September 7
Time: 12 noon - 5 pm
Location: Kaministiquia River Heritage Park
Enter the Park from Syndicate Avenue through the north entrance underpass near Donald Street or the south entrance underpass near Ridgeway Street.
