The Parks Division runs two campgrounds for visitors and residents to enjoy. These sites offer cabins and traditional RV, trailer and tent campsites.
Visit the Chippewa Campground Home page for site maps, rental rates and operation dates. Chippewa Park offers a campground with RV/trailer campsites and cabin rentals, amusement rides, wildlife park, swimming, picnic field reservations, pavilion bookings and much more! Potable water is available.
Visit the Trowbridge Falls Campground Home page for site maps, rental rates and operation dates. Trowbridge Campground offers RV campsites, swimming, hiking trails and much more!
The City of Thunder Bay encourages anyone visiting a campground in the area to buy your firewood locally, burn your firewood locally, and don’t leave any firewood behind. Firewood is available at city parks for a nominal charge, and by not transferring firewood into the region, we can help prevent the introduction of Emerald Ash Borer, which has decimated ash trees throughout Canada and the United States. The greatest risk of spreading Emerald Ash Borer is the movement of firewood.
