Marina Park

Marina Park Marina Park is home to many events and festivals including Canada Day Celebrations and the Thunder Bay Blues Festival. This scenic park on Lake Superior has a spectacular view of the harbour with the Sleeping Giant on the horizon. There is a modern, full-service boating facility with over 250 slips for residents and visitors.

Prince Arthur’s Landing, the area from Red River Road to Pearl St., provides a year-round destination for residents and visitors alike. A network of public paths and spaces are enlivened by Public Art installations that celebrate the rich culture and history of Thunder Bay and its region.

The project expands public park areas and recreation activities while reconnecting the downtown to its waterfront through the creation of a spectacular mixed-use village.

The recent $130-million transformation of Thunder Bay's waterfront was a project that involved the complete transformation of three piers and the construction of a Spirit Garden, an Arts Centre, Mariner’s Hall, Water Garden Pavilion, Skating Rink, Splash Pad, Skate Board Park, Restaurants and Cafes combined with a new Hotel, Residences and Marina.
