Vickers Park

Vickers Park Entrance 2

Arthur Street between Selkirk and Brunswick Streets

The City of Fort William's first park was donated to the City by Catherine Mary Vickers, daughter of pioneer author Susanna Moodie. This beautiful park is one of the City's showpieces with the children's play equipment being the most consistently popular. The City's Recreation Division provides summer programming in Vickers Park, including the annual Teddy Bears' Picnic. A restoration plan to revive the original Victorian landscaping in the Park is currently being implemented by the Parks Division.

Vickers Parks is a popular site to have a wedding ceremony or take wedding pictures.  Call (807) 625-2351 to book.
