Summer in the Parks & Teddy Bear’s Picnic

Summer in the Parks is a series of free musical concerts that take place in Marina Park on Wednesday evenings from the end of June to end of August. The concerts showcase local talent performing a wide variety of musical styles. Food vendors are on site to provide snacks and non-alcoholic drinks for purchase. Local artists set up tents to sell their works, and volunteers and community organizations provide children’s games and face painting.

The Teddy Bear’s Picnic takes place on the afternoon of July 14th in Vickers Park. The event includes live entertainment, games, crafts, a teddy bears parade, volunteer-run teddy bear repair station, and community group recreation stations. Participants bring their own picnic lunch or purchase food from on-site vendors.
