Programs fill up quickly so register early! Registration forms are no longer needed. Register for Recreation & Culture programs by phone or in-person. Persons with a disability are encouraged to register.


Call the "Registration Hotline" at 625-TIME (8463). The hotline operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If a registration agent is not available, your call will be forwarded to voice mail.  Payment is required at the time of registration. To register you will need:

  • Course name and code number
  • Participant name
  • Address and postal code
  • Participant's date of birth
  • Phone numbers (day and evening if different)
  • Visa or MasterCard number and expiry date

Extra Registration Hotline Coverage
For one month after the Key is delivered to homes, staff answer the phones during the following additional hours:
Monday - Friday 6 - 8 pm
Saturday & Sunday 1 - 4 pm


Register at the following locations during normal hours of operation. Call the facility for their operating hours. Payments can be made by cash, cheque, money order or Visa™/MasterCard™.

The Community Services Department works to improve the availability and accessibility of recreation for people of all ages and abilities. Information and program support is provided to assist people with a disability to participate in recreation activities. For more information, please call 625-2930 or the TTY Relay Service at 711.

Audio cassette tapes and CD's of the Community Services Department programs/services listed in this publication are available at all public libraries, the Victoriaville Civic Centre or by calling 625-2930.


Registration on First-Come Basis
Most programs have limited registration filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Satisfaction Guaranteed
We sincerely hope that you enjoy our programs. If not completely satisfied, speak to the Supervisor of the program area BEFORE the second class to receive a FULL refund. Refunds granted after the second class are pro-rated.  Medical certificates may be required.  No refunds after mid-point of programs.

Confirmation of Enrolment
If you receive your first choice in programs, you will not hear from us. Simply attend the first class. If your first choice is not available, we will contact you by telephone. Receipts will be available at the location of the first class/lesson.

The Recreation & Culture Division has a policy to assist people who wish to participate in its instructional programs. If you require assistance with program fees, you must contact a supervisor at 625-2351 prior to submitting your registration form.  This policy only applies to registered programs directly administered by the Recreation & Culture Division. Children may apply for program registration through P.R.O. Kids, or call 625-3212.

Federal Children's Fitness Tax Credit
The Federal Children's Fitness Tax Credit is a non-refundable tax credit on eligible amounts of up to $500 paid by parents/guardian to register their children under the age of 16 in an eligible program of physical activity. The credit applies to supervised children's programs which have a significant physical activity component and meet the specified criteria. Parents/guardian are being encouraged to keep ALL receipts for sports & recreation programs.
