Marina Park

Enjoy spectacular lake views, walkways, scenic lookouts, picnic areas and a children's playground. While at the Marina Park also visit the Canadian Northern Railway Station. Now open is the City's new 2,000 sq. metre (22,000 sq. ft.) skateboard/BMX plaza - featuring a retro California-style swimming pool bowl and skateable "Sleeping Giant"! 

The park hosts many events and festivals including Canada Day, Summer in the Parks concert series and Thunder Bay's Annual Blues Festival.  

Visiting and resident boaters also enjoy Prince Arthur's Landing Marina - a full-service boating facility with 256 boating slips. Boat launch ramps are availale to the public for a user fee.

Amenities: Slips, washrooms, laundry, showers, pumpouts and fuel. 

Located in the Thunder Bay North, at the foot of Red River Road.

NOTICE TO ALL VISITORS TO MARINA PARK:
Waterfront Development Is Underway!
Construction on the Waterfront began in 2009. Please note that due to this construction Marina Park, south of the Skateboard/BMX Plaza (Pier III) will be closed to the public. This includes the Red River Road pedestrian overpass and the Pearl Street entrance. The north half of the park will remain open to the public via Marina Park Drive and the Camelot Street entrance.
