The second oldest park in Ontario, Waverley Park features a military cenotaph and the recently restored Hogarth Fountain, which dates back to 1790 and originated from Hertfordshire, England. A series of connected walkways and tree plantings is part of a plan to restore Waverley Park to its proper place as one of the cornerstones of Thunder Bay's park system.
