Quetico Provincial Park

Quetico is a protected wilderness retreat of international acclaim. Once travelled by Ojibway and fur traders, the park's lakes are now the destination of experienced canoeists seeking solitude and rare glimpses of wildlife. The Dawson Trail Campground on Highway 11 features 107 car campsites and tent-like dwellings called yurts that can be rented year round.  Natural Heritage Education Programs are offered during the summer and cross-country ski trails are available during winter months. 

Amenities: Visitor Centre, Ontario Parks Store in the Park, showers, barrier-free access.

Located 148 km (92 miles) west of Thunder Bay on Highway 11, near Atikokan and on the US-Canada border
