The Canada Games Complex hosted the aquatic events during the 1981 Canada Summer Games. It is a total aquatic, fitness and multipurpose recreation center offering citizens of the city and region the opportunity to participate in a variety of social, recreational, competitive, instructional and therapeutic activities. The complex provides access through memberships, pay-as-you-go, aquatic and fitness program registration and the 77 metre (250 ft.) pool has the added potential of hosting provincial and national aquatic competitions.
Amenities: 77 Meter pool with two removable bulkheads, swirlpool, Thunderslide, jogging track, multi-training areas, weight room, squash courts, fitness testing, multi-purpose rooms, child care facilities, locker rooms, saunas, whirlpools, restaurant, 10, 7.5 and 5 metre diving towers and change facilities for families and people with disabilities.
Located beside the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium on Winnipeg Avenue.
