The Make it Short Movie Project

The annual fall Make It Short Movie Project receives support from top film directors such as David Cronenberg, Norman Jewison and Paul Haggis. Designed by Thunder Bay producers Lee Chambers and Suzanne Plesh as an educational film production, the event offers the community a chance to work on and star in a short film that has a theatrical release.

"The 'not-for-profit' event is the kind of creative experiment that may very well lead to a new generation of TV and moviemakers," adds Emmy Award winning 24 director, Jon Cassar.

This year the award-winning event will raise funds to support children's mental health in Thunder Bay through public education and prevention initiatives via the Children's Centre Foundation.
