​​Local farmers are embracing agri-tourism and opening up their family farms to tourists who want to learn and enjoy a bygone way of life that's not so bygone anymore. Take a farm tour then experience how local chefs turn fresh, local prodcuts into delicious meals at one of our many Farm to Table restaurants. Belluz Farm

A sustainable pick-your-own and "fresh picked for you" fruit and vegetable farm. On-site farm market store with fresh-picked produce, local meat, local cheese, maple syrup, preserves, honey and gift items. The Harvest Cafe features fresh local food. Four-acre Amazing Corn Maze, wagon rides, play area, and farm animals. Call ahead for exact hours and seasonal details.

Thunder Oak Cheese Farm

Watch how Gouda cheese is made and experience the wonderful taste of Gouda. This is the only farm in Ontario that produces Gouda cheese. This creamy Dutch cheese has long been a favourite of cheese lovers around the world, Thunder Oak Cheese Farm has been making it in Thunder Bay since 1995 with fresh milk from their own Holstein cows with no preservatives or added colouring. 

There is also a farm store that offers Gouda in any quantity, large or small, and in twelve different flavours.  The store also offers a wide variety of Dutch import products including cookies, candy, spices and licorice to ceramics and towels. 

Cheese is freshly made at the farm, Monday to Friday at 11:00 am.
