Celebration on Ice at the Fort William Gardens
Celebration on Ice is back on Dec 16. The all new show choreographed by Brian Orser, will feature four-time World Championship Kurt Browning, Olympic Medalist Jamie Sale and David Pelletier, World Champion and Olympic Bronze Medalist Jeffrey Buttle, Olympic Bronze Medalist Joanne Rochette, Canadian Champion and Olympian Cynthia Phaneuf. Also appearing with incredible on-ice acrobatic performances are Violetta Afanasieva and Pete Dack as well as local performers.

Terry Fox Information Centre’s Christmas Hours
Tourism Thunder Bay invites you to bring your visitors to the Terry Fox Information Centre throughout the winter season. The Centre is open between 9 am – 5 pm, seven days a week (closed on statutory holidays). For more information, visit www.visitthunderbay.com, or call (807) 983-2041. Throughout the holiday season the Centre will be closed on the following days:

  • Christmas Eve, Dec 24 – Closed at 12 pm (noon)
  • Christmas Day, Dec 25 – Closed
  • Boxing Day, Dec 26 – Closed
  • Dec 27-30 – Open 9 am – 5 pm
  • New Year’s Eve, Dec 31 – Closed at 12 pm (noon)
  • New Year’s Day, Jan 1 – Closed
  • Jane 2 – Back to Regular Winter Hours.

Winter Happenings At Fort William HIstorical Park:

Winter Walking Tours: Available twice daily (11am and 2pm), seven days a week. Admission is $6.60, children ages five and under are free.

Upcoming events:

  • Dec 10-12 & 16-19 - Rogue Productions Live Theatre "Charles Dickens – A Christmas Carol". Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and Students.
  • Dec 31 – New Year's Eve Family Frolic. Open 6-10 pm. Admission is $7.50 for adults, $5 for youth ages six-12, $3.75 for children ages two-five, and under two years-old are free. Tickets can be purchased at the gate. Cash, credit and debit cards are welcome.
  • New Year’s Buffet Dinner hosted by the Victoria Inn. Cost is $22.75 for adults, $11.41 for children; price includes HST, gratuity and event admission. No reservation required, dinner will be served from 4-7 pm. Cash, credit and debit cards are welcome.
