Terry Fox Information Centre remains Open through the winter
Tourism Thunder Bay invites you to visit the Terry Fox Information Centres for information on new things to see and do during the winter months. The Information Centre will be open daily from 9 am to 5 pm, closed on statutory holidays. During the month of February, the centre will be closed on Feb. 15 for Family Day. Winter Happenings at Gammondale Farm

Gammondale Farm has facilities and activities from horse-drawn sleigh rides, birthday parties, educational tours, corporate retreats and special events for families, friends, groups, and businesses.

On Feb. 15, Spirit of Dance invites you to come on down to Gammondale Farm for a Family Day Winter Frolic. Enjoy sleigh rides, pond hockey (helmets required), farm animals, or warm up in the log house with snacks, a back sale, games and more.

Grab a group together of friends, family, co-workers, or organization and come on down to Gammondale Farm for a fun filled day of activities. Reservations are required. Enjoy a sleigh ride on their big black Percheron horses, keep warm in the Log House, play some hockey (helmets required) on the frozen pond, visit the farm animals and make maple taffy on the snow.

Chenier Fine Arts, the Purple Gallery
Located at 8 Court St S., the Purple Gallery showcases a diverse selection of original art created by established and emerging Canadian, regional and international artists.   • February feature - in the new Chenier Window Galerie is February Blues with "Shane Norrie - 75 Ceramics", 15 new paintings, two new gallery artists - Michael La Roux, and Normand Boisvert, "Urban Street Scene" Paintings by Sacha, Castonguay's Oils/Pastels on Canvas and on paper, and Lagace's Portraits of Women.  Also showing is the "opus" Series stone sculpture by Jason Nelson and Wood Sculpture, Vessel and Assemblage by John Books.

$5 Drop-ins at the Sports Dome
The Sports Dome is offering $5 Drop-ins all winter long. Come and enjoy a game of soccer, badminton, tennis, ball hockey, basketball, dodgeball, volleyball, flag football, or ultimate frisbee! Fort William Historical Park is Open and Active During The Winter Months.
Daily walking tours continue Monday through Friday at 11 am and 2 pm. Tours begin at the Administration Building. Please dress accordingly. Seasonal admission rates apply.
