Come be inspired by the athletes during the 2011 Special Olympics Ontario Winter Games
Be Inspired! On Jan 20 -22, more than 400 athletes and coaches from across Ontario will rendezvous in Thunder Bay to compete in the Special Olympics Ontario Winter Games. Come watch these athletes perform at Kamview Nordic Centre, Thunder Bay Tournament Centre, Fort William Curling Club, and Mount Baldy in one of six events including Cross country skiing, snowshoeing, speedskating, figure skating, curling and downhill skiing. Terry Fox Information Centre’s Winter Hours
Tourism Thunder Bay invites you to bring your visitors to the Terry Fox Information Centre throughout the winter season. The Centre is open between 9 am – 5 pm, seven days a week (closed on statutory holidays). For more information, visit, or call (807) 983-2041.

2011 Thunder Bay Experience Guide set to arrive in mid January
The 2011 Experience guide is at print and should be arriving in Thunder Bay in the middle of January. Look for the guide at the Terry Fox Information Centre, and various locations throughout Thunder Bay including many attractions, and accommodations in and around Thunder Bay. Winter Happenings At Fort William HIstorical Park

Winter Walking Tours: Available twice daily (11am and 2pm), seven days a week. Admissions are $6.60, children ages five and under are free.

Wild on the Superior Frontier: Settlers’ Live at the Thunder Bay Historical Museum
