Time Capsule 1995 – 2020

Submission: Directory of Businesses for the year 1995.

Submission: A postcard of the building, and a signed photo of the Planning Committee.

Submission: A pamphlet, a photo of their staff, and a large signed flag.

Submission: A set of casino chips, their 25th anniversary pamphlet, playing cards, a calendar, various photographs, and their fund raising agreement.

Submission: A leather satchel filled with Fort William Historical Park memorabillia, including glasses, a scarf, a belt, mocassins, old letters, and a writing feather, as well as a letters, brochures, a leather identification badge, a slide showing the 1995 Great Rendezvous Historic participants, a tin coffee cup full of small items, and a gold tin containing rock samples.

Submission: A copy of their published history book, titled Can-Car: A History 1912-1992.

Submission: A CD consisting of music made by various artists for the 1995 Nordic World Ski Championships, along with a signed promotional poster and a small write-up explaining the CD.

Submission: Three photographs, with two showing neighbourhood policing offices around town and one a police cruiser of the time.

Submission: A length of fibre-optic wire, sealed in a plastic tube.

Submission: A pamphlet, showing the Air Canada Cup National Midget Hockey Championship.

Submission: A copy of the 1995 Corporate Report detailing the need and direction for Thunder Bay's strategic plan. Also included are supporting documents, newpaper clippings, and letters on the subject.  

Submission: A copy of their organizational chart, their brochure, and their pin. 

Submission: A set of three postcards for Homecoming '95 with art and essays created by local contest winners in 1995.

Submission: A section of their tartan, with 4 badges stictched on to it, celebrating the North West Ontario Region, Fort William district, Thunder Bay’s 25th anniversary, and the planting of the 50th million tree in the Scoutree program.

Submission: A CD and two brochures.

Submission: A hat, and a t-shirt.

Submission: A letter written by then Alderman and later Mayor Ken Boshcoff, a schedule for that year's Summer in the Parks program, a t-shirt, and a set of Community Auditorium ticket stubs.

Submission: A letter, and the induction dinner program wth profiles of 1995's inductees. 

Submission: A pair of pamphlets, one from the General Hospital of Port Arthur, and the other from McKellar General Hospital.

Submission: A letter, news clippings, and the Canadian Charter of Rights & Freedoms.

Submission: Its 25^th Anniversary project, a book of local history, From Rivalry to Unity, and a large portrait of Saul Laskin, first mayor of Thunder Bay.

Submission: A Coffee mug commemorating their 20th anniversary, a t-shirt, and a shoelace.

Submission: A glass carving, a skier's pinny, pins, a book of information, its schedule of events, and the Nordic Pass to the event.

Submission: A newsletter, a booklet, a greeting, and copies of its annual reports.

Submission: A booklet of music made by local students, and letters.

Submission: A message from the Mayor to people living in Thunder Bay in 2020 and two in black and white showing City Council of 1994-1995. .
