The Planning Services Division would like your comments on a proposal to:

• Add “Parking Lot” as a permitted use on the property.
• Establish any other development related proposals.

The effect of this amendment would be to demolish the existing single detached dwelling and construct a “Parking Lot” with approximately 14 spaces for the adjacent school (École catholique Franco-Supérieur).

You should submit your comments no later than May 11, 2022, quoting file number Z-02-2022. Copies of all letters will be forwarded to City Council and to the applicant.  Your comments will be used to prepare a recommendation to City Council.  The collection of personal information including names and contact information provided in written submissions is made under the authority of the Planning Act for the purpose of creating a Public Record.  Personal information is collected in compliance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

 The Subject property is located on the corner of Elgin St and Court St. N. A single detached dwelling exists on the property today.

The purpose of the proposed amendment is to amend the Zoning-Bylaw as it relates to 250 Elgin Street. The proposed amendment would:
• Add “Parking Lot” as a permitted use on the property.
• Establish any other development related proposals.
