Confederation College

Confederation College's highly qualified faculty and caring staff prepare graduates with the knowledge, skills and hands-on experience for their future careers. With over 70 programs, outstanding personal and academic support services, financial aid, distance education, e-learning, independent study and seven campuses across northwestern Ontario, the learning opportunities are endless. After graduation, 90% of students find work within six months. Lakehead University 

Lakehead is one of Canada's more exciting comprehensive universities with enrollments of under 10,000. Known for its strong leadership and commitment to student needs, Lakehead has a reputation for innovative programs and cutting-edge research. Recent research indicates that Lakehead graduates have an employment rate of 96% two years after graduation. Thunder Bay Public Library

The Thunder Bay Public Library allows you to take advantage of great programs and services.  We offer free public Internet access and classes, reference services, programs for children and adults, Wi-Fi, public meeting rooms, a computer training lab and much more.  Our online catalogue and virtual information resources are available 24/7. In addition to books, the library collection also contains online databases, DVDs, CDs, audio books, large print materials, MP3 CD books, newspapers, magazines, local history collections, collections in other languages and other excellent resources! Thunder Bay Ventures

Thunder Bay Ventures is a non-profit organization committed to fostering community economic development in Thunder Bay and region. As a Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC), it finances new businesses and expansions, provide business services and referrals and fund economic development projects in the Thunder Bay Census Metropolitan Area (CMA). Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre

The Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre is a non-profit organization, funded by both private and public support, with a mandate to support sustained economic development initiatives and encourage cooperation and synergy between business, education and government. The Centre offers its patrons a wide range of assistance including business advisory services, market research, product development collaboration and access to its advanced IT training lab and meeting room facilities. North Superior Workforce Planning Board

The mission of the North Superior Workforce Planning Board is to connect community partners to improve the quality of life in our communities through workforce development. The Workforce Planning Board engages communities in a locally-driven process to identify and respond to key labour market trends, opportunities and priorities, and develop collaborative partnerships to address employment, economic and social challenges. It organizes activities that promote the importance of education, training and skills upgrading to youth, parents, employers, employed and unemployed workers, and the public in general.
