Kite Festival is back this year at Chippewa Park!  

We can't wait for you to join us on Sunday, June 9th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm!

Bring along your favourite kite and come out to experience Kite Festival! 

Highlights include:

• Free flying zone where the public can fly their own kites
• 200 kites to be given away throughout the event
• Kite making and craft projects with Community Arts & Heritage Education Project (CAHEP)
• Spooky science activities with Science North
• Bouncy castles
• Bubble Station
• Giant outdoor games
• Activities with Healthy Kids & Youth Move
• Cricket Council demonstrations
• Face painting
• Food vendors ($)
• Community group booths
• Chippewa Park’s carnival rides ($)
• And more!

FREE shuttles from Intercity Shopping Centre to Chippewa Park. Park at Intercity (old Lowe’s parking area) and take the shuttle to Kite Festival!

• Depart from Intercity Shopping Centre at 11:00 am, 11:30 am, 12:00 pm, 12:30 pm, 1:00 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:00 pm
• Depart from Chippewa Park 11:30 am, 12:00 pm, 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:00 pm, 2:30 pm, 3:00 pm
