Strategic action plan focuses efforts

We are living in a period of unprecedented change because of evolving global competitive trading relationships. The Strategic Plan must therefore possess the built-in flexibility to allow for the allocation of critical resources to focus on the development of new sectors of opportunity as they evolve over the next 24 months. Mining readiness strategy

The City of Thunder Bay, together with Fort William First Nation (FWFN) and the Thunder Bay Community Economic Development Commission (CEDC), published a Mining Readiness Strategy, on April 25, 2013, to address and strategically plan for growth in Thunder Bay and the Northwestern Ontario Region. The Strategy is a major step forward to help guide all of Northwestern Ontario in capitalizing on the many opportunities that mining development is expected to bring to the Region.
