Bearskin Lake First Nation Evacuees Begin Return HomeResidents of Bearskin Lake First Nation that were evacuated to Thunder Bay recently due to flooding in their home community are beginning to return home today.
Multiple flights are scheduled over the next few days to transfer the over 150 residents that have been hosted in Thunder Bay since November 14.
Residents Reminded to Not Place Waste on SnowbanksThe City would like to remind residents not to place waste and recycling bags or cans on snowbanks during collection days.
“Waste on snowbanks poses a danger to both residents and waste collection crews,” said Jason Sherband, Manager – Solid Waste & Recycling Services.
