Thunder Bay

Where Culture Meets Celebration

In every season, across our vibrant city, neighbours, families, visitors, and friends gather together to share in the heartbeat of our community.

The City of Thunder Bay proudly presents seven award-winning, free public events each year. You’ll find local and Canadian artists, vendors and artisans, cultural showcases, food, games, and community expos. But what you’ll take home is more than what you see or hear. You’ll take home a feeling.

By showing up for these events, you are doing more than having a good time, you’re investing in our community. There is unspoken strength that grows when people know their neighbours, when kids dance beside elders, when stories are shared and differences are celebrated. Free, accessible events like these create space for everyone to belong, to feel seen, and to connect.

We invite everyone to come out, take part, and be part of something bigger. These moments only happen when you are there. So bring a friend. Bring your curiosity. Bring your energy.

Let’s celebrate Thunder Bay!
