Get ready to soar with us at Kite Festival at Chippewa Park – a family-friendly celebration filled with colourful kites, outdoor fun, and exciting activities! Join us for:

  • Temporary Tattoos – Get creative and add a fun, vibrant design to your look at our temporary tattoo station!
  • Kite Flying Areas – Bring your own kite or borrow one to take to the skies in our designated flying zones.
  • Amusement Rides – Enjoy thrilling rides and classic fair fun for all ages with Kite Festival Special Pricing!
    • Bracelets will be sold for either one hour or two hours of unlimited rides:
      •  
        • Adults- $30.00 for 1 hour, $50.00 for 2 hours
        • Child- $20.00 for 1 hour, $30.00 for 2 hours
      • Individual tickets will be available
        • $5.50- large ride
        • $2.50- small ride
  • Food Vendors – Satisfy your cravings with a variety of tasty treats from local food vendors. Cash payments preferred. 
  • Artisans - Discover unique creations from local artisans.
  • Community Groups – Explore booths from local organizations and connect with the community.
  • Indoor & Outdoor Activities – With activities for all ages, everyone will find something fun to do, no matter the weather!

Shuttle Service – Shuttle buses will be available from the Kinsmen Northwood Centre (609 James St N) for easy access to the park.
