In January 2024, the City of Thunder Bay launched its first podcast, aiming to improve communication with the public, connect with the community and provide another way to share city information.

‘The Minutes’ offers an in-depth look at the decisions made following each Standing Committee and City Council meeting. Hosted by Corporate Communications & Public Relations staff, the weekly show provides a brief recap of the weekly council meeting and conversations with municipal leaders and staff, providing detailed insights and perspectives beyond traditional news coverage.
