WHEREAS, over half a million Canadians are living with dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease, with 25,000 new cases diagnosed every year; and

WHEREAS, each January, the Alzheimer Society of Thunder Bay asks Thunder Bay residents to stand together to decrease stigma related to Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
