Neebing River Trail to Close as Bridge Work Begins
July 5, 2016 - The multi-use trail that runs beneath the Neebing River Bridge on Highway 61, just north of Arthur Street, will be temporarily closed tomorrow, July 6, to accommodate rehabilitation work on the Ministry of Transportation's bridge.
The trail, which connects Wolverine Crescent in Parkdale to Thornloe Drive in Northwood, will be completely closed during working hours for several days as a temporary, covered, and illuminated walkway is constructed to protect trail users during construction.
Province Activates Disaster Recovery Assistance for Thunder Bay and Surrounding AreaJuly 5, 2016 - Ontario has notified the City of Thunder Bay and surrounding municipalities that it has activated the Disaster Recovery Assistance for Ontarians program in their communities due to recent flooding in the area.

EAB is an invasive beetle native to Asia that is responsible for devastating millions of ash trees across North America.
City Crews Respond to Arthur Street West Water Main BreakJune 29, 2016 - City crews have responded to a water main break that occurred this morning on Arthur Street West, near the Ministry of Natural Resources base just before Vanguard Avenue.
The break has been isolated and work is underway to repair the pipe.
