Work on the North Core Streetscapes renewal will continue this summer on Court Street, with work shifting to Red River Road.

The streetscape work started in 2023, and this spring, crews have started to install granite planters and concrete pavers on Court Street as the ground has thawed enough to resume work.

City crews will be out on local roads to begin the City of Thunder Bay’s spring street sweeping program, starting on Monday, April 15.

Spring sweeping occurs once temperatures rise above zero and focus on removing sand spread over the winter months on streets and sidewalks.
