Nominations Open for 2022 Mayor’s Community Safety Awards
Nominations are officially open for the 12th Annual Mayor’s Community Safety Awards, which recognize Thunder Bay citizens and groups who are working to make our city safer and more equitable.
The awards are hosted by the City and Community Safety & Well-Being Thunder Bay.

Youth Anti-Racism and Anti-Hate Project Reveals Public Art MuralA public art mural was revealed at a community event today led by the ‘Youth in Solidarity Against Racism and Hate (Solidarity Collective) Project’. The project is the culmination of the work accomplished in the first year of a two-year project funded through the Ministry of the Solicitor General.

Nominations officially open today, and the deadline for submissions is November 5 at 4:30 pm.

A series of virtual public forums are scheduled from March 2-18.
